Abstract

The purpose of this blog is to examine cybercrime and its impact on the corporate world. We will look at The progression of Cybercrime. We will look at the impact Cybercrime has had fiscally and culturally on corporations. Through articles and news clips we will observe why it seems to be easier than ever to commit these crimes and how it affects government and corporations. This research paper will show what might happen if more isn’t done by the private sector to properly secure our infrastructure with hardened software and security policies and technology. We will see how the security industry has flourished due to the rise in cybercrimes. Lastly there will be recommendations on how to bolster innovation by the security private sector through legislation.
